Product Selection #2 : Hose Holster Suspension Kit
Each Hose Holster requires a suspension kit, determined by the height of the duct manifold above finished floor (AFF).
The direct-to-duct kit (# A4DHS) is recommended, and should be used when the bottom of the duct manifold is 13' or less AFF.
If more than 13' AFF, the extended duct kit (# A4EHS) is available.

For both kits:
  • The Vacuum Holsters are suspended from the duct manifold.  No separate bracing from structure is required.
  • Both kits use a flexible suspension strap, allowing the Vacuum Holster to pivot/rotate if touched or pulled.
  • The kits are designed so that the bottom rim of the tailpipe adapter hangs at 6'6" AFF.
  • For automotive Vacuum Holsters, the installer should use a 4" diameter tap or takeoff from the spiral duct manifold.
Direct-to-Duct Kit

Part #: A4DHS
  • Recommended suspension method when duct is 13' AFF or less
  • The flexible suspension strap is looped over the duct manifold
  • Hose Holster is connected to the suspension strap by two cam-grip cleats, permitting easy field adjustment of height AFF
  • Hose Holster can be cut to shorter lengths to accommodate very low-ceiling applications
  • All items and hardware are included in the kit
  • Weight: 1 lb

Extended Duct Kit

Part #: A4EHS
  • The flexible suspension strap is looped over the duct manifold
  • The suspension strap is connected to a section of spiral pipe, supplied by the contractor, call the "duct spacer"
  • The duct spacer is installed vertically, between the duct take-off and the Hose Holster.  It must be sized in the field to attain the proper suspension height AFF
  • A 6-4" reducer is supplied by Ascent to attach the Hose Holster to the duct spacer
  • With the exception of the duct spacer, all hardware and accessories are provided with the kit
  • Weight: 4 lbs (not including duct spacer)
